The Data Visualization Developer will work with our creative team to develop compelling interactive visual interfaces to complex data sets.  The position emphasizes a need for an artistic mind to drive large data sets to drive computer graphics thinking about new HMI implementations and rethinking the future of technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop next-generation data visualization tools
  • Ability to mine large datasets to determine its characteristics and select appropriate visualizations
  • Utilize data visualizations to address complex systems
  • Participate in core multi-disciplinary project team
  • Generate, evaluate and test concept ideas
  • Optimize the performance of all applications by focusing on the customer experience
  • Deliver and execute to enable project completion to plan
  • Remain abreast on the latest industry trends in mobile and web-based technologies
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • BS Degree in Fine Arts, Engineering or related field
  • Experience in interactive graphics, data visualization, data mining, and data analysis
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML5/Canvas, Python, and Processing
  • Blended foundational knowledge of software engineering fundamentals, as well as breadth in new media arts
