The Electrical Engineer designs, develops, tests, and installs next generation electrical equipment, components, or systems. Design and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and military uses.  


  • Responsible for all stages of system design, including schematic capture, component selection, board design, board layout, initial startup and debugging
  • Direct and coordinate construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements
  • Design high speed circuit boards, microprocessors and DSP elements, IO devices, and HMI devices
  • Provide technical leadership for project teams
  • Collaborate with Mechanical Engineers, Programmers, and Industrial Designers to develop a complete system
  • Provide multiple solutions to complex engineering challenges associated with rapidly changing specs/requirements
  • All other duties as assigned



  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience
  • 5 plus years relevant work experience
  • Experience in design, development, and test with embedded computers, computer peripherals, and handheld devices
  • Experience in board layout design
  • Demonstrated applied knowledge of digital, analog, and RF circuit design


  • PhD or Masters in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics
  • GPS, FPGA and PLD design and implementation, CE device design, and DSP programming
