  • Junior Engineer

  • Overview

    We are looking for a well-rounded, multidisciplinary Junior Engineer who will provide project support and delivery in a variety of engineering disciplines. This individual will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including software engineers, mechanical/electrical engineers, UI/UX designers, graphic designers, scientists, and subject matter experts to execute the creative and technical vision of the company’s clients and projects.

    Responsibilities

    • Serve as junior to mid-level general engineer for a diverse technical project portfolio
    • Provide technical recommendations and initiative to colleagues
    • Help turn novel concepts into reality, and high level requirements into sub-system or component level requirements
    • Contribute to proposals
    • All other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • BS degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or similar
    • 3-5 years experience in a highly creative, multidisciplinary engineering team
    • You possess a cross-disciplinary mindset and demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, highly creative environment
    • You can see the big picture and have gained experience to come up with creative, out-of-the-box solutions
    • You have broad interests and are developing expertise and depth in a field of interests
    • You have proficiency in one or more of these fields, or similar fields:
    • Embedded Software
    • FPGAs
    • Artificial Intelligence
    • Graph Databases
    • EO/IR system design
    • Big Antenna Design
    • RF Communications
    • Software Defined Radios
    • You have your preferred tools and methodologies, but are always looking to explore and learn new and emerging technologies to diversify your toolbox
    • While growing expertise in one area, you also know how your technology fits in to the larger system
    • You are able to successfully develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and are confident enough to brief clients on your work
    • You have a strong work ethic, and maintain a collaborative and pleasant demeanor amid rapid and unexpected changes

     

    Having a Top Secret/SCI security clearance or willingness to obtain one is required.
