Overview

We are seeking a Creative Recruiter to build and manage a diverse and highly skilled talent pipeline. Sourcing will include specialty/niche user experience designers, graphic designers, architects, and architectural designers. While this position will have an emphasis on creative roles, this individual may also recruit and source for multidisciplinary engineers, renaissance engineers, software developers, roboticists, and a variety of professional and administrative staff. As a result of building relationships throughout the organization, this person will develop a deep understanding of the unique opportunity that is Applied Minds and tell the story in a way that inspires the best talent to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Build candidate pipelines of exceptional talent by identifying prospects through direct sourcing, web sourcing, networking, social media, user groups, research, events, tools, referrals and other creative tools and processes.
  • Continue active pipeline development regardless of actual open positions
  • Develop strong consultative relationships with prospects and candidates
  • Strategically approach and develop relationships with passive and hard to find talent, cultivating these relationships over time
  • Deliver diverse candidate pipelines for all positions
  • Act as a collaborative team member with the entire HR team
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Ability to conduct deep web sourcing utilizing advance filtering and Boolean search strings
  • Minimum 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience with demonstrated success in placing employees at all levels
  • Experience in both agency and corporate recruiting
  • Proven ability to handle a position load of up to 15 unique hard-to-fill positions
  • Track record of sourcing, attracting and hiring A+ engineering talent
  • Demonstrated expertise in recruiting methods including: cold calling candidates and companies, organizing and executing ad hoc networking events, identifying industry experts and finding unique methods to engage with them, creating unique targeted sourcing campaigns, etc.
  • Experience developing creative out of the box recruiting methods
  • Proven ability to fill difficult one-of-a-kind roles with an emphasis on creative positions and STEM
  • Comfortable interfacing directly with hiring managers, including Director and VP level technical leaders and adept at presenting candidates
  • Proven ability to leverage technology including applicant tracking systems to deliver with quality and speed
  • Thorough understanding of current employment and labor laws including regulations required of a government contractor
  • Proven technical depth and a network of candidates in one or preferably more of the following industries: Commercial Software, Automotive Design or Manufacturing, Commercial Aviation Design or Manufacturing, Mobile and Wireless Communications Design or Manufacturing, Consumer Electronics Hardware Design or Manufacturing, Multi-media design, Research & Development labs, Robotics, and Autonomous vehicles
