Job Location US-CA-Burbank


We are seeking a Sales, Government Security Solutions who will research, identify, and qualify new opportunities and partners. This is a hands-on and highly visible role that will have a significant impact and influence on the growth and ongoing success of our military, intelligence, vehicle, and aerospace business portfolios.  This individual will partner with senior leadership and regularly interface with a multidisciplinary team of talented engineers, scientists, designers, developers, artists, and other creative and technical staff.


  • Drive sales within the aerospace, defense, and intelligence customer base from lead generation to contract signature
  • Identify new revenue opportunities aligned with the company’s capabilities, products, and services
  • Actively engage prospective customers in exploring a business relationship with the company
  • Develop productive and long-term relationships with customers that lead to new business opportunities and wins
  • Analyze and identify all necessary requirements for government solicitations
  • Develop and maintain a vibrant and active lead generation reporting mechanism and provide updates to senior leadership on a regular basis.
  • Actively drive and monitor RFP and quote activity and progress and provide internal updates to senior leadership on a regular basis
  • Work collaboratively with internal proposal team to ensure high quality proposals are developed in a timely manner
  • Maintain client relationships by supporting the creative and engineering teams as needed, and collaborate with clients on key project realted topics and issues
  • All other duties as assigned


  • 10+ years’ experience working in a Sales or Business Development capacity ideally for a Defense Contractor or subcontractor or related business
  • Security Clearance Preferred
  • Bachelors’ degree in Business, STEM or other related field or equivalent experience
  • Extensive knowledge of and experience in the procurement process for complex military systems and federal acquisition contracting vehicles
  • Proven ability to deal with technical and management representatives of Federal Government and Military customers
  • Ability to screen and understand government solicitations and guide relevant proposals based on business capabilities
  • Ability to frame and clearly articulate compelling stories around technology and business opportunities to a diverse audience of potential partners
  • Proven success building and maintaining business relationships, particularly with the federal government and large defense contractors
  • Proven ability to successfully work across all levels of an organization, including executive, management, and creative and technical staff
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a highly dynamic, creative, technical, and lightly structured environment, being self-directed, flexible, and able to accept rapid changes
  • Must be able to travel at least 25% of the time
