Associate Project Manager - Architecture & Design

Job Location US-CA-Burbank


We are seeking an Associate Project Manager - Architecture & Design who will lead a highly skilled creative team of multidisciplinary designers, artists, and specialists in the development of designs and innovative workspaces and facilities, both in the commercial and government sectors. This individual will manage the team toward world-class project delivery with ever-changing deadlines and deliverables.


  • Work directly with the Lead Designer, Lead Architect, and Project Managers on all design element needs for a wide variety of architectural and design projects
  • Provide leadership and management to a team of highly gifted professionals from a wide variety of creative backgrounds
  • Work with Project Managers to understand, anticipate, and allocate all architectural and design resource needs for the organization
  • All other duties as assigned


  • BA in design or related field preferred
  • 5-10 years experience managing teams of creative designers, artists, and architects
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, and/or Rhino
  • Exceptional design sensibilities
  • Proven effectiveness at managing shifting priorities and evolving creative direction
  • Exceptional skill in integrating constructive feedback from multiple sources
  • Proven ability to articulate big ideas and effectively achieve desired creative outcomes
  • Ability to take initiative and work with little supervision for timely completion of projects and making time for unplanned assignments and adapting to changing priorities
  • Strong attention to detail for architectural design, presentation, and final proofs
  • Passion to deliver compelling and creative designs that are functional, engaging, and effective in digital and traditional settings
  • Interest in staying current with design trends for all types of media
  • Excellent communication, organizational, time management, and follow-up skills
  • Experience with marketing communications and campaigns Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop (video editing a plus)
  • Experience with standards compliant web design tools, which include HTML5, CSS3, and other XML-based
